Rocky, uneven, damp ground? That may be a problem for an ordinary ground tent, but not for a Sportz Truck Tent. Enjoy the freedom of the open road knowing you can camp anywhere your truck will take you. With the Sportz Truck Tent, you can sleep in the bed of your pickup truck, creating a convenient and cozy sleeping area for two in less than 15 mins. Perfect for a spontaneous road trip, a trek to the mountains, or a day at the beach.

Begin by measuring the bed of your truck with the tailgate closed. Our sizing guides will help you determine which tent is compatible with your truck. Our website also displays a sizing chart for your convenience.
Yes. The tent will work with a sprayed, mat, or prefabricated liner.
No. Truck Tents will not work as long as the camper shell/cap is assembled. Napier SUV Tents are the best option as long as the height from the ground to the highest point of the cap window/door does not exceed 80”.
Yes. One person is able to set up a Napier Truck Tent, however we do recommend having assistance during the first set-up. The first set-up should take approximately 15 minutes and about 10 minutes each time thereafter. Each tent comes with set-up instructions and color-coded poles for easy assembly.
Our truck tents will fit over Roll-Up Tonneau Covers if the rolled-up tonneau cover is less than 6” high
No. Driving with the tent mounted to your vehicle may cause personal injury and/or damage to your tent and truck.
Railings will work as long as they are less than 3” tall. Roll and sports bars must be removed.
Yes. We recommend placing the tent over the toolbox to minimize the amount of water that could enter between the box and the tent. It is also recommended to cover the corners of the toolbox to protect the tent from ripping on sharp edges. Please note that you will lose the amount of space that the toolbox occupies.
As long as the back rack does not intrude onto the rails of the truck too far, it should not impact the functionality of the tent. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a photo or the exact model of your back rack to determine if the rack is compatible.
Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent.

Bought the tent a couple of years ago, fit great, works perfect. The fit in the Ranger was spot on. Decided to get the link the other day for the added space. Setup was easy and quick. Can’t wait to try it out in Northern saskatchewan.July 23, 2023
Easy to set up, convenient to pack, and super comfortable to sleep in! Such a fun way to camp!!

The dimension of thé tente where perfect, but two of the posts were broken during installation. So or vacation where scrap. Im very disapoitedJune 16, 2023
This tent is unreal. The instructions are sewn into the carry case so you will never lose them. The poles sets each have a specific color which make distinguishing where it goes easy. Didn’t take long to set up. We even have a tonneau cover in the truck which blocks about a foot of the truck bed and we were still able to set it up and it looked perfect and was comfortable and roomy. Tall enough for me to stand up in to change too.March 16, 2023
Set up was a little difficult the first time. However, I was trying to beat the sunset. So, as you see in the picture, I did it wrong in a couple of places. But figured out my errors the next morning and straightened it out.
Has alot of space inside, almost seems like it makes the truck bed larger. I sleep alone, so used a single air mattress and had plenty of room along side of me for my luggage and etc. Alot of windows, so catches decent air flow.
Definitely satisfied with my purchase and experience with it. Looking forward to more camping in the future with it! 👍🏻March 16, 2023
We have used this tent a few times this summer. It’s nice to be off the ground. Love the room this tent provides. My husband is 5’7 and can easily stand inside the tent. Two of the times we camped, it rained pretty good and we stayed dry. In summer there is good venting and had a little battery operated fan to keep the air moving and slept great. Recently we camped where the night time temp dipped to 35 degrees and had quite a bit of condensation around the top section. It’s easy to put up. The instructions are sewn to the bag so you don’t loose them and are simple to follow. It takes the two of us about 15 minutes. My husband was able to do it by himself but it’s easier with two people. We really like this tent and have been happy with this purchase.March 16, 2023
Great tent, this will be our 2nd time using it in 4yrs. The long green pole was so difficult to install it ended up splitting and we had to use duct tape to fix and it allowed us to use it.Have already ordered a new one and recieved it,just set it up now and the replacement pole seems to be to long!! And we shortened it by taking one section out of it just to make it work. as you might see in picture( new pole is grey).June 5, 2022

I truly enjoyed this Sportz Truck Tent and look forward to many more uses however after setting up on the fourth time the long gray pole snapped, which was quite unfortunate.June 20, 2021
I’d first like to say I originally bought the backroadz version before getting this. Having used both the higher price of this is definitely worth it.
Its fairly straight forward and easy to set up as the poles and slots are color coated. There is a TON of ventilation once all the flaps are opened.
Additionally, my truck has a half depth tool box that I didn’t have when I used the previous tent.
The tent with the tool box will sit almost flush with the end of the tailgate. The toolbox provides a shelf inside the tent making for a convenient place to store anything.
The Carabiner inside the tent is also very hand! I have a small LED light/bug zapper that hooked right on.
The tent and bed (crew cab, regular bed, 2500) also fit a queen sized air mattress perfectly.
Overall this is definitely worth the investment for having a nice place to camp.May 20, 2021
