Railings will work as long as they are less than 3” tall. Roll and sports bars must be removed.
No. Truck Tents will not work as long as the camper shell/cap is assembled. Napier SUV Tents are the best option as long as the height from the ground to the highest point of the cap window/door does not exceed 80”.
Yes. We recommend placing the tent over the toolbox to minimize the amount of water that could enter between the box and the tent. It is also recommended to cover the corners of the toolbox to protect the tent from ripping on sharp edges. Please note that you will lose the amount of space that the toolbox occupies.
Our truck tents will fit over Roll-Up Tonneau Covers if the rolled-up tonneau cover is less than 6” high
As long as the back rack does not intrude onto the rails of the truck too far, it should not impact the functionality of the tent. Please email customerservice@napieroutdoors.com with a photo or the exact model of your back rack to determine if the rack is compatible.
Our tents already have a water-resistant coating on them. However, the coating may wear down over time and you may want to spray a water repellent coating onto the tent and rainfly after a few years of use. For additional protection and product maintenance, you may wish to use a seam sealant on your tent.

I was a little skeptical about fit, ability to keep water out, as well as overall build quality, but put it up on of my Ram 1500 short bed, slept in it a couple very cold nights with a little rain, and it performed flawlessly. Cinch it down tight, it will protect you, keep moisture out, and it’s not going anywhere. Very happy with my purchase.

I got this after to make it easy to explore different areas to camp out and not have to completely tear down my tent every time. I can just disconnect the poles from the pockets and fold them over then shut my tailgate and move to the next spot. Set up was super easy and the pockets are color-coded to the tent poles.

I used this set up with my 2015 Ram and it did great over my weekend camp out. Setting up the tent was fairly easy but bending the pole in place was tight. What impressed me was, it stormed 2 nights with one storm having 60+ mph winds with about 2-3 inches of rain. The tent held in place with no issues and vary minimal water came in. Well done on making a great product, I definitely very happy with my purchase.

Although it was a little bit harder to put up than the video once it was up I absolutely loved it! Plenty of room for myself, my wife and my son. Kept us warm and dry. Definitely need more padding, but that’s not the tent’s fault! I’m am very glad I got this tent! Definitely worth it! I also loved the price! Probably best $80 I’ve spent for camping. I was lucky enough to purchase with a 40% discount, so it was a great deal! Would recommend all day long!

My only complaint is that the door opens down and out like a tongue. So you really have to open the door all the way every time you want in/out or you could trip and fall off your tailgate. I would prefer that it open to one side or even roll up to the top of the tent. Otherwise great tent for the price, sets up and functions just like a standard dome tent.
